Diagnosis and therapeutic monitoring for pathogenic dysrthymia such as atrial fibrillation and arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (Boxer cardiomyopathy) require 24/48-hours Holter monitoring.
When a pathogenic dysrthymia is suspected, our team can fit a small, painless, continous Holter monitor onto the patient for 24 or 48 hours. Your pet can return to our clinic or your local vets for it to be removed and analysed for the best therapeutic recommendation.
Cardiothoracic emergencies requiring intensive medical management and monitoring can be admitted to our twentry four hour dedicated nursing team.
Together with our medical and ECC team, our nusing team has a great deal of experience in nursing complex medical cases such as fulminant cardiac failure and pleural space diseases, where intensive monitoring and frequent treatment (e.g. up to once every 15 minutes) are very important in the early stages of the diseases.
