GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION PRIVACY NOTICE
Lincolnshire Veterinary Referrals is fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018. We hold our clients’ personal data in their legitimate interests to provide pets with emergency, routine and preventive veterinary care.
THE USES WE MAKE OF PERSONAL DATA
This is not an exhaustive list.
Personal data will only be stored for as long as a client remains registered with Lincolnshire Veterinary Referrals.
If a client informs us that they do not wish to remain as a client of the practice, their data will be kept for one year in case it is needed by, for example, another veterinary surgeon or an insurance company processing a claim. After that, it will be destroyed unless it is legally necessary for us to keep it. For example, the Inland Revenue requires financial data to be held for six years, after which it will be destroyed.

To be a client of Lincolnshire Veterinary Referrals, the business has to process your personal data in order to provide your pets with veterinary care. All clients must consent to this processing.
You may withhold your consent, or withdraw your consent at any time, but, if you do so, Lincolnshire Veterinary Referrals will not then be able to accept you, or allow you remain, as a client of the practice.
