Delivered in collaboration with our team at HydroPet, our nursing team not only look after our patients when they are poorly, but also help our patients through rehabilitations.
Our physiotherapy and rehabilitation team are led by RVNs holding Level 3 Certificate in Canine Hydrotherapy and membership of the Institute of Registered Veterinary & Animal Physiotherapists (IRVAP), and are proud to uphold the highest standards and codes of practice within the industry.
With an on-site temperature-controlled swimming pool and water treadmill, hydrotherapist can tailor the best mode of rehabilitation for our patients.
For patients who not a fan of water, our physiotherapist can also utilise cold laser therapy and shock wave therapy, along with exercise prescription to help with a range of musculoskeletal conditions.
Common conditions that often benefit from hydrotherapy and physiotherapies:
We also offer veterinary acupuncture to our patient, using meticulously placed needles to stimulate our patients’ nervous system, immune system hormonal and cellular systems.
Working closely with our hospitalisation team, we provide physiotherapy to patients staying with us during early stages of their recovery.
This is particularly important for spinal patients where carefully planned early rehabilitation will facilitate their recovery.
We also proud to ensure we demonstrate physiotherapy to our clients when our patients were ready to go home, so ensure our patients have the best chance to recover at home.
