Our Referral Clinicians

Dr. Cameron Sheppard BVMS PgC(SAS) MRCVS
Director of Surgery

RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery

While still an undergraduate studying at the University of Glasgow, Cameron already knew that his main clinical interest was surgery. He has been dedicated to expanding his experience of soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery ever since.

He has acquired wide experience of performing successful soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery and recently gained the necessary approval to perform Total Hip Replacement.

Cameron also enjoys laparoscopic procedures and endoscopy which he performs with considerable success.

In additional to being a dedicated surgeon, Cameron has a special interest in the assessment of paraplegia and paretic spinal cases, producing and reporting spinal MRI before proceeding to theatre to perform decompressive surgery in patients where this is indicated.

Dr. Jacqueline Buck BVM&S RVN PgCert PgC(SADI) MRCVS

RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Diagnostic Imaging

She has decades of experience in the assessment of neurology patients and the investigation and treatment of neurological disease. She has been reporting Magnetic Resonance Images since 2006 and has been treating patients based on this investigation during that period.

She also has an interest in neurosurgery, operating regularly and with consistent success on patients with spinal cord compression. Despite her special clinical interest in neurosurgery, she still finds all soft tissue surgery fun!
