We have been producing and reporting Magnetic Resonance Imaging since the early 2000s. The MRI scanner is a new 1.5T Easote Vet MR which scans all sizes of small animal patients from Great Danes to small furry pets.
Our neurosurgeons have an excellent success rate in returning IVDD patients to normal ambulation. Nevertheless, we recommend you refer paralysed patients as soon as possible. The best surgical results are usually obtained within 48 hours of the onset of paralysis.
Our twenty four hour dedicated nursing team has a great deal of experience in nursing neurological cases in those very important days when patients are recumbent and need considerable support.
We also have in-house qualified Hydrotherapists and a qualified Physiotherapist for those patients who would benefit from these forms of support.
